Meet the Staff
Jean, Practice Administrator
Jean joined our team as the Practice Administrator in 2004. She spent 25 years as an Operational Business Development Specialist working in the Fashion, Beauty, and Cosmetic Surgical Industry prior to joining our team of professionals. She is a specialist in personnel management, marketing, and strategy, and operational management. Jean has received advanced dental management training from the Schuster Center, Scottsdale, Arizona, and The Pride Institute of Practice Management. Jean attended Iowa State University and the University of Iowa. She is a guest speaker for the Department of Periodontics at the University of Texas at San Antonio in their Business Development Program.
Jean is married and the mother of two grown sons, Jonathan & Joshua.
Jennifer, Clinical Team Supervisor
Jennifer began assisting Dr. Brown in 2003. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute with a Dental Assisting Certificate in 1999. She is a certified dental X-ray Technician and is trained by PlanMeca in the operational procedures of our 3D Digital Imaging Cone Beam. Jennifer wears many hats within our practice. She is our Implant Coordinator and manages the inventory and ordering of our dental implants and dental implant parts. She trains the surgical assistants and works closely with our front office team to ensure we have a seamless patient flow between the front and back offices.
Jennifer is the mother of two girls and is married to her High School Sweetheart, Victor. She is originally from California and is active within the Tucson community.
Alexis, Administrative Supervisor
Alexis graduated from Bryman College with her Dental Auxiliary Certificate in 2006 and became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2007. She worked as a back office assistant before transitioning to front office roles in 2016.
Alexis moved to Tucson from Southern California in 2021 with her two kids and her tuxedo cat. In her time off she enjoys cooking, yoga, and spending time out in nature.
Gillian, Appointment Coordinator
A long-time Tucson resident, Gillian is a recent addition to our staff. Gillian was the owner and office administrator of Borden Physical Therapy and retired from the practice last year. She loves to work with patients and prides herself on efficiency and fun!
She is married and has three grown kids! Her passions are traveling, planning trips, reading, and adventures with her husband.
Sarah, Registered Dental Hygienist
Sarah joined our dental hygiene team in 2007. She graduated with honors with an Associates in Applied Science from Pima Community College in May 2006. Sarah graduated from the University of Arizona in 1999 with a BS in Speech. Sarah treats patients on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. She is efficient, effective, professional, and a clinical diva! Sarah loves hygiene and it shows every day with every patient that she treats.
Sarah has one child, Ethan. She enjoys exercising, being outdoors, and volunteering with the Flying Samaritans.
Allissa, Surgical Assistant
Allissa joined Dr Brown’s team in February 2026. She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated from Grand Canyon University with a bachelor’s in biology and has been a dental and surgical assistant for 6 years. Allissa brings professionalism, kindness, empathy to our office. She loves her work and is a great addition to our team.
Allissa loves to be outdoors with her two labradors, Theodore and Winston. When she is not hiking or paddleboarding, you can find her kickboxing or reading!
Sylvia, Surgical Assistant
Sylvia joined the Brown team in July 2024. She is a graduate of Apollo College and has been a dental and surgical assistant for 14 years. Sylvia brings professionalism, kindness, humor, and empathy to our office. She loves her work and is an incredible inspiration to her team.
Sylvia was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She is the eldest of three. She is happily married to her partner of 18 years. They reside in Tucson with their adorable puppy, Tuti.
